I am 22 years old.  I started as an EMT-Basic when I entered into the medical field in 2005.  I had been a volunteer a few times for the Department of Health as well.  Being a single mom, I made the decision to change careers to a job that would allow me to still be involved in the medical field and also allow me more time with my three year old son.  I decided to go back to school to be a medical assistant, which I completed in March 2007.  Some of my goals are to become more advanced in medicine in either the OB/GYN or Ultrasonography.  I would also like to be a model or an actor.
